Lily and the Snowman – Follow you follow me

Questo splendido corto di animazione è stato realizzato da Dan Abdo e Jason Patterson, Hornet, per la Cineplex.

È la storia dell’amicizia speciale tra Lily e il suo pupazzo di neve.  Quando inizia a fare caldo, per paura che il suo amico si sciolga, Lily lo chiude in un frigorifero in garage, così da poterlo ritrovare l’anno successivo e vivere insieme ancora mille avventure. E infatti, la magia si rinnova ogni inverno e i due trascorrono momenti fantastici, finché Lily, ormai adulta e presa dai suoi impegni e da nuovi interessi, finisce per dimenticarsi del pupazzo. Ma una sera, seduta alla scrivania in ufficio…

A fare da colonna sonora a questo vero gioiellino è “Follow you, follow me”, un brano bellissimo dei Genesis, gruppo che io adoro, qui reinterpretato dalla cantante canadese Adaline.
